Scott Dooley
My name is Scott Dooley, and I teach Engineering and Computer Science at Christel House Academy Watanabe High School near downtown Indianapolis. This is my 18th year at Christel House and my 26th year as an educator. During that time I have been an elementary classroom teacher, a Media Specialist, and an elementary and middle school technology teacher in an urban school environment. I have been a high school CS teacher for the last ten years, and this is my third year teaching Engineering and Design with e4usa. For the last two years, I have been a member of the e4usa +First community of practice, a group that brings a robotics component to the e4usa curriculum. I am currently enjoying my first year as a teacher coach for this community. e4usa has revitalized my teaching career and has helped me take on a subject area I wasn’t super confident in. We now have an actual engineering pathway at my school, which would never have happened without e4usa. If I can do this, anyone can!
