Stacy Klein-Gardner
Dr. Klein-Gardner focuses on engineering education, particularly at the K-12 level. She leads the Engineering for US All (e4usa.org) program that seeks to demystify and democratize engineering through three yearlong, hands-on introduction to engineering courses at the high school level. Over the years, her work has entailed significant research in professional development for teachers of engineering at all levels of K-12. As an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, she also provides educational evaluation of the two-course sequence in the Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering. Dr. Klein-Gardner earned her B.S.E. in biomedical and electrical engineering at Duke University, a Masters in biomedical engineering at Drexel University, and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University. She is a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
