e4usa Hosts Student Design Competition at the IEEE ECCE Conference!

Collection of images for students activities at the IEEE ECCE Conference.

A hearty congratulations to the e4usa teachers and students who joined e4usa at the IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Expo earlier this week.  These 100 students designed wind turbines as a part of the new Unit 2 and competed through the KidWind competition on site.  Four students and Mike Kiser were invited to open the conference officially in front of 2000 people!  In addition to the competition, the students had the opportunity to visit graduate students’ demonstrations of their research in energy conversion and dine with them as well.
