Engineering for US All (e4usa) is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $100,000 grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation to support our mission of making engineering education more available and engaging for high school students with financial need across the country.
This grant will allow us to further develop and expand our high school engineering curriculum, support a national network of teachers and schools, and strengthen our partnerships with universities and industry leaders.
With this funding, e4usa will:
- Train and mentor more high school educators to teach engineering, regardless of prior technical experience.
- Enhance student learning experiences by linking classroom instruction to real-world engineering challenges through our faculty and industry liaison model.
- Support student pathways to college and careers in engineering and technology through partnerships with universities and access to industry-recognized credentials.
“We are honored to receive this support from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation,” said Dr. Stacy Klein-Gardner, Executive Director of e4usa. “This grant affirms the importance of preparing the next generation of engineers. With the Foundation’s help, we’re expanding opportunities for students with financial need to see themselves as problem-solvers, innovators, and future engineers.”
In alignment with the Foundation’s mission, e4usa will also help raise awareness of Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarship opportunities among the students and educators we serve.
This project is supported in part by a grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation.
