🌱 Honoring Our Teachers: Deep Roots. Growing Strong.

This month, we’re celebrating two longtime e4usa educators — Kevin Martz and Christine Zito — whose dedication continues to inspire our community. Their stories embody the roots and branches that help e4usa grow stronger every year.

e4usa at IEEE Power Electronics Society's Energy Conversion Conference & Exhibition

Our team recently attended the IEEE Power Electronics Society's Energy Conversion Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia, where we hosted a hands-on workshop and connected with educators, engineers, and industry partners globally. Led by the talented Katey Shirey, the session highlighted our growing partnership with XRP and introduced participants to classroom activities that help students explore power electronics concepts through accessible tools.

Educators who attended received a free Power Electronics XRP kit, which allows students to build a solar-powered battery charger and a wireless phone charger, helping them connect power electronics principles to real-world applications. Participants also received classroom-ready instructional materials they can use immediately. (For those interested, we’ve included a button below with a link to purchase the kit.)

We were energized by the excitement in the room and grateful for the many meaningful conversations at our exhibitor table throughout the conference. This collaboration with XRP reflects our continued commitment to expanding classroom access to high-quality engineering tools, authentic industry contexts, and engaging learning experiences for teachers and students across the Philadelphia area.
