Connecting with the Engineering Education Community at ASEE
June took us to Charlotte for the ASEE Annual Conference, where the e4usa team connected with engineering educators, researchers, university leaders, and industry partners from across the country. We were grateful for the opportunity to present "Engineering for US All (e4usa™): Bringing High School Engineering to Your Community," highlighting how schools, universities, and communities can work together to expand engineering opportunities for students.
Beyond the sessions, ASEE reminded us that engineering education is built on relationships. It was a week filled with meaningful conversations, new ideas, and the opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues who share a passion for preparing the next generation of problem-solvers.
One of the highlights of the conference was celebrating the retirement of ASEE P-12 Engineering Education legend and longtime e4usa champion Liz Parry. Liz's leadership, mentorship, and dedication have helped shape engineering education for countless educators and students, and we are grateful for her lasting impact on both ASEE and the e4usa community.
Thank you to everyone who attended our session, stopped to talk with our team, and continues to support the shared mission of bringing engineering education to more students and more communities.
Celebrating International Women in Engineering Day
International Women in Engineering Day gave us the opportunity to celebrate the women whose leadership, mentorship, research, teaching, and professional practice continue to shape the future of engineering.
Throughout the day, we highlighted impactful women in engineering across our social media channels and invited our community to reflect on the people and moments that first helped them see engineering as a place where they belonged. We also shared the story of our Executive Director, Dr. Stacy Klein-Gardner, whose career has been dedicated to expanding opportunities for students and teachers through engineering education. From her early years as a high school teacher to her leadership of the national e4usa initiative, Stacy’s journey reflects the heart of our mission: engineering is For US All.

Sharing Engineering with Girls' Schools Around the World
Following ASEE, Stacy traveled to Toronto for the International Coalition of Girls' Schools Global Forum on Girls' Education, where she presented "Engineering for US All (e4usa) and How 'Us All' Includes You!" The session explored how authentic engineering experiences help students build confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills while addressing meaningful community challenges.
The conversation continued beyond the conference through the ICGS blog, which featured e4usa's insights in "Top 5 Considerations for Starting an Engineering Program at a Girls' School." We're honored to contribute to this important discussion and grateful to ICGS for highlighting the role engineering can play in girls' education.

Preparing for a New Year of Engineering Learning
While conference season continues, our attention is also turning toward the start of a new school year. Over the coming weeks, we'll welcome both new and returning teachers for summer professional learning as they prepare to bring e4usa into classrooms across the country.
Professional learning is where each new year begins. Together, educators will build community, strengthen their engineering knowledge, and prepare to guide students through authentic design challenges that connect engineering to the needs of their schools and communities.

On the Road: Next Stop, NAF
Conference season isn't over yet! Next up is the NAF Conference, where we'll continue sharing e4usa's vision for expanding engineering education and building new partnerships with educators and school leaders.
