2026 - 2027 Professional Learning & Supports During the Academic Year
MyDesign® 1: Get to know MyDesign
In the fall, teachers will learn more about the MyDesign Scoring Rubric and the platform through a month-long, fully asynchronous professional development. Teachers will engage in one of the following offerings:
- Monday, October 5 - Monday, November 2, 2026
- Monday, November 2 - Monday, November 30, 2026
- Monday, November 30 - Monday, December 28, 2026
Winter Professional Development
In January, teachers gather together with fellow e4usa teachers to reflect and prepare for the rest of the school year.

Teacher Progress Snapshots & Reflections (TPSR)
The Teacher Progress Snapshots & Reflections is an opportunity for teachers to showcase how they are teaching the e4usa curriculum to best support their students. Teachers will be asked to submit snapshots and respond to reflection questions at two points during the academic year - the e4usa Winter Professional Development and End-of-Year Teacher Celebration.
End-of-Year Teacher Celebration
Celebrate the end of the school year with fellow teachers.
- Thursday, May 13, 2027 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM ET
- Friday, May 14, 2027 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET
e4usa Community of Practice
Each new teacher has support from the e4usa Community of Practice.
e4usa Coaching
Each teacher will have access to trained e4usa Coaches. Each month e4usa Coaches will offer office hours and provide collaborative support through the year via the e4usa Hub.
e4usa Liaison
Each teacher is assigned a university and/or industry liaison. Liaisons provide additional support to teachers and students throughout the year, including support with resources, project ideas, and engineering expertise.
e4usa Hub
The e4usa Hub launched in 2024 and is a centralized location to access the following:
- e4usa curriculum
- All e4usa professional development content
- All social gatherings and celebratory events
- e4usa teacher resources
- e4usa Connect
e4usa Connect is an especially important component of the e4usa Community of Practice and affords all e4usa educators, both new and returning, to communicate, ask questions, and share resources.
For New Teachers, access to the e4usa Hub is already included.
